Faith to believe......

No matter the slings and arrows, no matter the nails and the thorns, no matter the spittle and the cross, we survive because we have faith, the faith to believe in and trust in Jesus.

Life is an evolvement!

What we are at this moment is different
from what we will be in the next.

Being in prayerful attendance at Holy Mass
and receiving the Holy Eucharist
is the closest we can be to Heaven
while here on the earth.

Ageless Spirit

The spirit is ageless.

No matter one's chronological age,
if the soul is elevated and the heart happy and at peace,
one's spirit is inDEED ageless.

CHURCH

I love to be in Church. I can commune with the Lord and watch what transpires on the Altar meditating upon what Jesus has done for us. It is there I receive many heavenly consolations, occasional visions and rare locutions.

Generally Sundays are the only days I can attend and when I am able to get back to daily attendance, I shall.

GOD-FEARING NATION

Let every God-fearing nation's flag furl

Representing freedom, a valued pearl

Paid for at the expense of battles fought

Peace under God ~ be what is wrought.

A PAUSE for PRAYER

We tend to run in circles like a hampster in a wheel......that's how we humans sometimes feel......but the time shall come when answers are forthcoming, perhaps not in the way we think, but in the way the Lord assigns as He aligns our souls to marry up with His.

SIMPLIFIED

I have simplified my life in order to live in the one the Lord gave me.

YOU WANT HOLY SPIRIT FIRE?

Let's start by focusing upon God above all trials and tribulations.

While in the throes of illness, we sometime are so taken up in the moment of the issue that we cannot think of anything or anyone else......ie, emergencies, etc. As soon as the dust settles and we are released from the clutches of the one who chortles at our misfortunes, we can overcome him by being present to Christ Jesus, the One who saves us from our foe.

Praise the Lord, God Almighty from early morning to late at night. He is the source of our Joy and the devil cannot steal our joy if we don't let him.

Joyfully in the Lord,

Finding Joy

When we find joy in the Lord and know where we are headed that makes all the difference in the world. We can be happy with a bowl of soup as well as pheasant under glass. We can be happy wearing nondescript jeans as well as the finest linens. We can be happy accepting our own looks and limitations as well as when we cover up our blemishes, our fat, our this 'n that. I choose to be happy because God gave me that Grace. How's 'bout you? lol. JOYFULLY in the LORD, Mel

knowledge and attainment

Thank God that in the complex world in which we live there is the knowledge and attainment of the Lord's peace within our souls. May we all be disposed to the gift of the peace of the Lord.
How sad when one thinks he has done it all on his own. To forget where it all comes from places one on the slippery slope of pride.

Re: Jeremiah 18: 2-6

We are clay in the Potter's Hand - I pray to be molded by Him.
We are all in the process....as He works,
folding, molding, beholding and enfolding us.

Joyfully in the Lord,

The more we pray, the closer we get to the Lord.
The more we enter into His Presence the less we ask and we accept what happens because His Peace is available the closer we get.
Persistance in prayer may not change the situation but it changes us.

When we experience the Lord's Peace things that mattered so much seem to slip away........the trust and faith ride us through.

PONDERING CREATION

I thought of the marvels of God's creation, how He thought to join cells together to form whatever it was He created, whether humans, animals, plants, fish of the seas.....everything. I am spellbound as I ponder the majesty of Himself. We mere humans have God given dignity.

Then......as I contemplate our God-given dignity, I wonder how anything unclean can come from our lips and yet, we know, being human we can and do at times know instantly when we have done so - and this makes me think of Peter who knew immediately what Jesus had told him....before the cock crows you will have denied Me three times..........and yet again, we repent and He forgives. There is great majesty in His Blood and His Sacrifice.

I am blown away.

Heavenly Visitation

While in Church on a Saturday evening I looked up toward the side Altar and saw a supernatural figure of a man in golden, slightly irredescent robes. He had a shaven square jaw, very light brown hair to his shoulders, looking up, heavenward, with his arms raised up high. The robe on his arms was raised as well, resting on the creases of his bent arm almost to his elbows. He remained there, in my vision, for at least 10 minutes, maybe 15 it seemed. I would glance away but he remained.

I had not the feeling it was Jesus but another, perhaps John, His beloved Disciple, because he was clean-shaven. I know one day, in Heaven, I will find out the name of the person and the reason for this visitation. No one else in the Church seemed to see what I saw.

The figure was that of a very handsome, very tall and very holy person. I was in awe of this presence. I felt perhaps he was an intercessor. There was the feeling he was from Heaven. I was at peace, nonplused at his appearing.
